We began working on projects for customers in March of 2022 and we are amazed that we are already at the tail end of October. Where on earth has the time gone?! During these past six months, we have completed a variety of different projects from simple one- and two-color projects to patterns and designs such as Kryptek, American Flag, Snow Camo, Worn and most recently a Celtic pattern design. Our primary project 'subjects' have been firearms, but our customers have been introducing new 'subjects' to us too, such as protecting the commercial stove drip pans shown below!
We look forward to continuing to grow our business and serving our community!
What special pieces do you need protected with a unique look? Or a piece brought back to life maybe? We love a challenge and our customers love the results!

On April 7, 2021, we embarked on an adventure of a lifetime. We began our first, of what would be many, business plan classes to determine if a Cerakote Business would be feasible in the Twin Ports area. The class included weekly homework, which included extensive market research. It was through this research that we found that we would be the only Certified Cerakote Applicators within a 2.5-hour radius. Considering the Twin Ports area and surrounding communities are full of sporting and recreational enthusiasts, we figured a Cerakote business would likely be well received. We decided to move forward with the goal of introducing this new service to the area, our focus on successfully serving our community.
Happy New Year! We have to say 2021 was full of excitement as we brought Superior Ceramic Coatings from just a dream to reality. The year was filled with trainings including taking business planning classes, QuickBooks Online classes, FFL classes and most importantly Cerakote Application Training (see last blog article for more information on the training we attended in San Antonio). Our workspace is located inside Superior Guns and Ammo, a new establishment in Superior, Wisconsin. Paul has been helping them with the drywall finishing and painting of the interior walls. Since this has been his profession for years, he was able to help to get this done quickly! We are simultaneously helping each other to get the shop up and running, working closely together towards opening our doors and serving our wonderful community.
San Antonio, Texas is a city well known for many historical sites, attractions, and activities. Many associate San Antonio with tourist attractions such as The Alamo, The Riverwalk, amusement parks, and waterparks. However, in this very large city, there is a little gem tucked away and it’s called Roman Arms, LLC. This is what we will always think of when we hear the name San Antonio. Paul has worked in the drywall industry for 33 years but has been interested in becoming a Certified Cerakote Applicator since being introduced to the product 10 years ago. He dreamed of changing careers and starting his own Cerkote application business. After lots of thought and planning, we finally took a leap of faith and decided to work towards making Paul’s dream become a reality. As we flew from Minneapolis to San Antonio, Paul gazed out the window, excited about the new journey we were about to embark upon.
